The AGC would like to thank each member for participating in our South Atlanta Open at Southerness Golf Club on Saturday March 13,1999. We also want to extend a warm AGC "Welcome" to our many new members who played in our Tournament. Many thanks also go to Kyle Rouzer and the entire Southerness Staff for providing all of their cooperation and a great golf course which allowed us to have a great tournament.
Everyone seemed excited to be playing competitive golf even though the weather was overcast and windy (with seemingly high humidity). After a very competitive tournament we want to congratulate our champion, Derek Hammonds, For a great round where he shot a Fantastic net 62. We also want to congratulate Brian Eck and Tim Patterson for finishing in second and third place, respectively. Thanks again to everyone who played for making our "Kick Off Tournament" for 1999 a resounding success!
