Richard Tate has won his second event of the year by shooting consistent scores in all tournaments this year. Tate, a native of Florida, has been playing golf since a very young age and continues a legacy his family has been carrying for many years. Richards father, Richard Tate Sr., was one of the premium golfers in North Florida and Richard Tate Sr.s younger brother, Pat Tate, became North Carolinas Amateur Champion while in college. Richard is upholding the family name by instituting himself as a premier athlete in the sport. Richard hit 8 fairways and 8 greens to shoot a net 66 to win the AGT Championship acquiring his second event of the year.

USGA indexs are on the way.
All the AGT scorecards have been entered and uploaded to the GSGA. The GSGA will process the scores August 29 and send out stickers shortly after.

We found that the USGA handicaps are very close to the calculations the AGT made throughout the first part of the season.
