There may be one player on tour who thinks Moore is better, but the rest of us are going to show him that Moore is less from here on out. All kidding aside, Roger Moore is and always will be one of the most unmerciful players on the AGT. Roger Moore, winner of the Players Championship, the AGT British Open and the BCI Invitational, has positioned himself as the "one to beat" on tour. If you have the opportunity to pair up with Moore, beware, his knowledge for the rules are keen and he may call you on an untutored oversight. Everyones intent was to win the first corporate sponsored AGT event of the year and unlike most events, the BCI Invitational had Moore riding on it then the customary AGT trophy. BCI presented the winner with a gracious undisclosed amount of long distance services to use domestically and internationally. BCI was proud to present the 1997 BCI Invitational trophy to Roger Moore. Moore hit 10 out of 14 fairways, 7 of 18 greens and 35 putts to shoot a net 71 with 6 birdies, 8 pars and 4 bogeys to apprehend his third event victory of the year.
