Another Up In Cumming Member Wins An AGT Event.
Is it possible that the AGT has another champion from Cumming, Robert Adams (Kemper Open Champion) and now Tim Buchannan. Is it possible that our tour has been monopolized by a wave of great Cumming golfers. The list of talent is long and I expect a few more champions from Cumming to win some AGT events. However, the spotlight this week deserves to be on Tim Buchannan the Buick Classic Champion. Buchannan, playing out of Sugar Hill G.C., fires a net 71 to secure his first tour event championship. Tim keep up the good play and congratulations.—

Highlights Of The Buick Classic.
A new member from Cumming, GA attacks the pin and places his ball inside a previous 3 foot shot and wins closest to the pin. Johnny Redd, playing out of CountryLand G.C., plays a game of golf that the tour has not seen yet. Redd shot a gross score of 76 and now owns the low score tour record. The AGT would also like to welcome Redd’s entourage, Steve Stansell, Kevin Yarborough and Monte Knight.
Long drive was won by Matt Freeman.
