Chris Trussell wins Canadian Open in sudden death.

Patience was the key to winning the Canadian Open this year at the Centennial Golf Club in Woodstock, GA. Fog delayed the event for 50 minutes and may have seized some members of their rhythm. Perhaps the delay had consumed some, if not most, of the players of their focus that day as well. But to say no one played well because of the delay would be like saying the winner of the event stole the Canadian Open out of thin air and that is not the case at all. Chris Trussell went to Centennial Golf Club to win an event and exhibited a will, like no other player, to be champion. Chris captured his first event in sudden death, beating Brent Featherstone by posting a net 66 at a difficult Woodstock golf course.

Chris Trussell captures his first AGT Championship held September 14, at The Centennial Golf Club in Woodstock. Matt Freeman, AGT President presents the award.
