The Atlanta Golf Club Members had tee times beginning at 12:00pm and everyone was in great form as they began the tournament on the first tee box. |
| David Burke had honors to lead off the Atlanta Golf Club's 1998 BRITISH OPEN! David had an excellent round shooting a 79 on the day. It's tough when you are so good you have a 2 handicap. |  |
| Norm Seibert is deep in concentration as Roger Moore and Tom Jorjorian wait their turn to tee off. Norm is wondering what that thing in Roger's left hand is. Later in the day Norm found out it is one of those things that can be very difficult to control. |  |

Chuck Honess is holding up 3 fingers as he discusses with Ron Hoover the number of strokes that Matt dinged him in the last tournament for hitting from the white tee. Someone said that it took Chuck 3 holes to get over it. Chuck told me he is not over it yet. Gene Blalock and Chris Arnett are in the rear cart. |

Robbie Adams and Dan Frederick look mighty happy to be here. Of course Robbie was happy to be anywhere after the way his morning started out. Robbie spun his car four times on the interstate on the way to the tournament. Luckily no one was hurt and their was no damage. |
