Beginning with the 2004 season, the Michelob ULTRA beer brand of Anheuser-Busch became the title sponsor of the tour, now named the Michelob ULTRA Golf Tour. 2005 will be the 4th season in Atlanta for the tour. We have grown over 400% in 3 years and we expect to expand our membership, number of tournaments and tournament participation in 2005. The Michelob ULTRA Golf Tour of Atlanta features 1 and 2 day events played on the finest public and private golf courses in Atlanta. Amateur golfers of all abilities can compete in tour events which mirror the quality of conditions for events on the PGA Tour. These events are conducted according to USGA rules and all golfers compete with other players within their own skill level.
